Cross-scale Interpretable Omics Laboratory

Our lab works on developing new computational methods to study and characterise molecular systems that play significant roles in immunity and cancer. We are based at the Research Department of Structural & Molecular Biology (SMB), Division of Biosciences at UCL.

The broad goal of the lab is to create intelligent solutions that capitalise on the increasing amount of biological data to understand how our immune system works, and scenarios where it breaks down. We care not just about accurate predictions of the system, but that these predictions are interpretable and biologically relevant.

We have long-standing interests in B cell response in different biological contexts, as well as systematic analysis of antibody sequences. We also build on our expertise in these problems and explore other complex biological systems and data modalities:
